What a great Easy Taylor Cap. After reading the pattern it is so nice to see that there are directions for different sizes for the whole family. I like the airy hat pattern and it looks great! I want to make one for the whole family that would be nice for a trip to the zoo so we can find everyone quickly. They would be good for any family outings, better than tee shirts. Thank you for this free pattern.

That was difficult to me. Just comment. Having trouble with rows 13 and 14! Can you post a video to youtube on how to do row 13 and 14 please? Thank you so much! Wow this is stunning i really must have a go.. This hat is one of my favorites! The pattern works up beautifully. I did do an extra round 3 to fit my candy apple head lol. Tried the flower twice and decided to find a simpler one. Thanks for making this pattern and sharing it with all of us! Thanks sooooo much this is the pattern I've been looking for!

Check out my blog www. I have been trying to figure it out for days, and I have no idea how to do row I got through 13, but I don't know where I'm supposed to put my stitches for Also, I'd add in the pattern that you have to slip stitch each row. It took a moment to figure that one out as well. Loving this hat! But I have a question. I have a pretty big head 22 inches and I was wondering if this hat would fit my head. Even if I would add another row like the third, after repeat of the 4th row. If not, what could I do to make it even bigger? I'm just a beginner at crochet, so Hello, I just finished this hat!

What a wonderful pattern. I did add the extra row and it took me forever to figure out that flower but I think I did pretty good. Is this what it is suppose to look like? I'm sorry to ask questions other people have asked but I couldn't find that you answered it. This is a lovely pattern, one I believe I will give a try! Thank you for sharing.

Can you please tell my why after row 2 everything is all curled up? I've ripped it out numerous times and have watched your video Ashley, did you ever determine what is causing the ruffly or curling of the hat? Mine is like that too, and I've followed the instructions to a "T" online and on her video. I've ripped it out numerous times! It may be a problem of gauge? I did not specify a gauge, but I've found it to be of particular importance with hats.

I apologize for not providing that.

I think I tend to stitch a little looser than others I have seen. Perhaps you could try a bigger size hook and see if that helps. Rows , do I do a chain st after each set of double crochets?

Thank you so much for sharing it. It really is a super sweet hat Thanks again!! Thanks for the pattern! It is so awesome!

I made a few adjustments, used a smaller hook and took a couple of the rows out, made the shell stitch a single crochet instead of a double, and only two layers to the flower and it made a wonderful baby hat instead.
